Since the world was hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic many of us have been using video conferencing softwares like Zoom to host meetings with clients as well as within our organizations,this has created a huge increase in demand for bandwidth.
This increased demand for bandwidth leaves you with two options, either you increase your available capacity or implement a QOS to prioritize video conferencing apps within your network.
If your network is managed by a Mikrotik firewall and you are unable to increase your capacity any further then this Quality Of Service would help you atleast by giving your Zoom services a high priority than the rest of the traffic within your network.
In this configuration I have set the Priority to 3 as it is not the upmost priority within my network however if you feel the need to increase the priority feel free to adjust the Queue from a priority 3 to either 2 or 1.
If you feel that your Zoom services are even lesser of a priority feel free to move it to a lower priority from 4-8
Simply Paste the script below into your terminal in winbox and watch as the Zoom IPV4 prefixes gets added to its own address list.

Now that we’ve got our Zoom address list added to our Mikrotik lets go ahead and Mark the packets related to our Zoom Sessions by pasting the script below into terminal to add two mangle rules for incoming and outgoing traffic related to our Zoom Address List.

Onto our third and final step where we create the Queue for all of our Zoom related traffic.
Once again simply paste the script below into terminal and watch the Queue get created with priority 3 and unlimited usage.
